The book of 2 Thessalonians is the second of two letters that are included in the New Testament of the Bible that were written by the apostle Paul to the church in Thessalonica. It was written around a.d. 51-52 from Corinth.

Paul continues the theme in his first letter by encouraging the church faced with persecution, correction regarding the matter of the Christ's return, and the need to work for a living.
